Otherwise they become clutter in the closet after the trend is over. I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. Having a tracking number that works on common sites is very convenient. If a piece of jewelry keeps its color and does not irritate the skin, I consider it a win. Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design.

If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement. Trendy pieces are fun, but I only buy them when the price is reasonable. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos. In the past I have wasted money on items that looked good in photos but felt cheap in real life.
