When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. Nose pads that are too hard leave marks and feel uncomfortable on the skin.

The same is true for metal versus acetate frames for glasses. If a deal looks too good to be true, it usually has some kind of catch. I am still learning and testing different brands and styles over time. I also started paying attention to how websites display sizing charts for clothing. For light summer tops I keep to my normal size to avoid a baggy look. Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later.
