Otherwise they become clutter in the closet after the trend is over. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. A simple pair of glasses or a basic jacket that always works is worth a lot. Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well.

Even big and famous brands sometimes send generic replies that are not very helpful. Taking a few minutes to research before buying can save a lot of money and frustration. Sometimes I do not mind waiting longer if the price is fair and the quality is solid. People who share height and weight information make it easier to choose the right size. Clear product descriptions save time and reduce the chance of disappointment. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces.
